VIRTUAL COACH
Having qualified for and competed at raw nationals shortly after begining to compete in Powerlifting, Hannah “Hammer” Mottek has found early success in her Powerlifting career. Hannah qualified for Nationals at her first meet, about 6 months into powerlifting, and won FIrst Place at PA State Championships for the 90 kg class. Hannah shortly thereafter, won 4th place at 2023 Raw Nationals. This year, she is fighting for a top 3 podium place at Raw Nationals.
Hannah has been coaching consistently from the start of her powerlifting career, gathering her first athletes quickly and has grown her roster tremendously since then. Hannah has a wide variety of athletes - several who have started with her from never touching a barbell before too experienced athletes. Hannah’s extensive medical and healthcare background and nutrition experience herself, has allowed her to explore her interest in educating men and women on the importance of nutrition affecting performance, general well-being, and assisting in achieving the goal weight for competition. Nursing and athletics has taught Hannah the importance of patience, time management, commitment, and understanding the human body to it’s full potential.
In 2020, Hannah graduated from Temple University with a degree in Pre-Medicine. After 3 years in Pre-Hospital medicine, Hannah decided to pursue nursing. Hannah has now graduated with her second Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University, and is now a Registered Nurse working in the Surgical-Trauma ICU, with a passion for nutrition and powerlifting coaching.
Hannah is extremely excited and motivated to keep learning and helping athletes reach their goals in powerlifting and nutrition.
